The Nemours Visitor Center resides on the grounds of the Nemours Estate and Gardens in Wilmington, Delaware. The exterior architecture is richly adorned with fieldstone and natural woods from the surrounding area. The liberal use of local materials connects the interior space to Wilmington and helps bring the outside inside. The interior design complements the building’s exterior architectural design and the manicured grounds. The expansive windows showcase the majestic views of the grounds and the subsequent uniform facilities.
Nemours Estate includes seventy-seven rooms, two hundred acres of woodland, a vintage car collection, and the most prominent French gardens in the United States. The visitor center consists of a reception area, ticketing space, theater, exhibition, and room for entertainment.
