Rush Rhees Library, University of Rochester

The Rush Rhees Collaborative Learning Center occupies two primary levels of the south wing of the building in addition to the Rush Rhees Library. Three hundred and twenty-five new seats were added and evenly distributed between study rooms, collaboration rooms, open offices, lounges, and viewing areas. A portion of the building’s exterior was removed to add large windows providing an abundance of natural light.

The natural light and color scheme creates a positive environment for students to continue their studies, increase their productivity, and promote efficiency in a communal setting.
