Snow Canyon is resort-style living and an age-in-place community for adults 55+. Potential community members can buy independent living private homes or townhomes. The community center building provides assisted living and memory care options along with amenities such as a salon, business center, fitness center, physical therapy, and multiple dining areas. Also, there is a country club within this community.
For this Snow Canyon project, we are employing principles of color psychology throughout every public space.
The design provides warmth and comfort to its community members through rich blues, taupe browns, mossy greens, and eclectic oranges. Because these nature-inspired colors are in the nearby Arizona desert, we take inspiration from the outside and incorporate them inside.
The lobby art depicts rolling sand dunes, and the dining room art displays soft, light pink florals. The dining room wallcovering is botanic garden-inspired amid eye-catching light fixtures. Our goal with senior living projects is to create stimulating and engaging environments that promote positivity, comfort, and social interaction for community members.
